Cameo Fabric Paints are perfect
for spraying onto fabric with an airbrush or spray bottle!

To Airbrush: 1.) Remove the nozzle and tip from the Cameo paint bottle by twisting off the whole top assembly then squeeze out what you need into a mixing jar or cup. When removing the plastic assembly, be sure you are not squeezing or depressing bottle. Replace top immediately. Twist it back on snuggly. 2.) Add an appropriate amount of cool water, a little at a time, to get more of a flowing liquid consistency. Watch that you do not lose more opacity than desired by thinning too much - if you do... just add more paint. 3.) Mix well. Strain or filter out any dried flakes of paint or other debris, if any got into the mixture. That will keep your airbrush nozzle from clogging. 4.) Load your airbrush appropriately and use a proper spray nozzle. 5.) Clean up with cool water (and liquid soap-if needed) while parts are still wet. Do not allow parts or surfaces to dry with paint mixture on them. Dispose of any remaining diluted paint mixture.
For spray bottle: Follow all steps above for airbrush except mix and pour into a clean, small spray bottle instead and use.
For most broad base coverage: Dilute paint with cool tap water to make a water-color wash or use paint full strength and apply with a flat-edged sponge brush. Textured effects are also possible by using other applicators like cotton balls or sponge wads and using a dabbing technique. Please note that Cameo paints come in a one-ounce bottle so plan accordingly to have enough paint.
Cameo paint colors can be mixed together to create any shade or color tone. Unlike competing brands, Cameo paints are not latex-based and will not clog airbrushes, if used properly. The high-tech acrylic formula provides a smooth and permanent medium for air brushing, stencil painting, design stamping, regular brush painting, fine line, and much more on most fabrics, upholstery, and carpeting. The results are always soft and permanent. And they are never toxic or dangerous to handle...even with bare hands.
NOTE: Do NOT store diluted paint mixture - it can be washed down a drain because the mixture is NOT toxic or dangerous. Always mix up paints freshly when and as needed.
ALWAYS TEST FABRIC FIRST TO MAKE SURE THE RESULTS ARE IN LINE WITH WHAT IS DESIRED. SOME FABRICS LET PAINT BLEED IF MIXTURE IS TOO THIN.
